Company culture and X-Cap training

The X-Cap company culture is built on the idea that we are a tight-knit community of driven people who support each other. Our focus on operating as a team comes to light in our one-of-a-kind training program. Our most experienced agents lead hands-on training to teach new agents about the business and refine the skills of seasoned agents. As part of the program, each new agent receives a one-on-one mentor who serves as their guide to the real estate industry and works closely alongside them to answer any questions they may have as they begin their real estate journey.

The experience of our leaders guides our company

X-Cap’s leadership team has a wealth of real estate knowledge and investment experience.

Our CEO J.D. Summa has been a real estate developer since 1997, serves as the president of real estate acquisitions for King’s Capital Construction, and is a 2x winner of the Business Council of Westchester’s Rising Stars 40 under 40 Award.

Christina Gaspar is the president of X-Cap and has 10 years of real estate experience as a salesperson, broker, and investment specialist. Her experience across multiple roles makes her an incredibly well-rounded asset to our company.

As the director of operations at X-Cap, Brian Macom oversees day-to-day operations. An expert in acquisitions, Brian has a deep knowledge of the industry and understands how to overcome any potential obstacles that may arise during the investment process.

Our creative business model

Most real estate companies direct their focus towards properties that are on the market: we specialize in off-market properties. Off-market properties are not listed on multiple listing services, which limits the competition between buyers, and keeps the selling prices low. Off-market properties can allow investors to achieve higher margins than with on-market properties, but it can be difficult to locate off-market properties and even harder to tell which are worthwhile investments. This is where X-Cap comes in. We have access to exclusive off-market properties that are only available to our agents and investors.

In addition to off-market properties, we specialize in helping distressed sellers. We purchase properties from sellers who cannot afford to keep their homes or who have some other type of unique circumstance preventing them from selling. Our team of expert problem-solvers work with sellers to overcome any barriers and make sure a sale benefits all parties.
